IN THE MORNING (ITM) is about love and its inevitable change/decline. It charts the emotional anatomy of several relationships over the course of one day. Permutations of passion, sorrow, joy and brutal honesty fuel the lives of a group of nine inter-connected New Yorkers. For everyone, life will be indelibly altered in the morning. The ensemble cast features Kim Hill (original Black Eye Peas vocalist), Emayatzy Corinealdi (Miles Ahead, Middle of Nowhere), Jacky Ido (Inglourious Basterds, Taxi Brooklyn), JoNell Kennedy (Shameless, Me You and Everyone We Know, DreamGirls), De’Adre Aziza (Passing Strange, A Night With Janis Joplin), Numa Perrier (The Couple, LEIGH), Hoji Fortuna (Viva Riva!, Afronauts), C.J. Lindsey (Denver Centers production of “Jitney”) and Fez (acting debut).

This 75-minute winner of the Urbanworld Film Festival's Audience Award, is directed by Nefertite' Nguvu (‘U.N.I.T.Y. Re-ignighted’ for Covergirl and Flavor Unit Ent.; Black America Again - Universal Music), with cinematography by producer Arthur Jafa (Selma, Eyes Wide Shut, Daughters of the Dust). View trailer.

ITM is preceded by NIGHT SHIFT. This 11-minute short film is directed by Marshall Tyler (Skid Rowe featuring Pras Michel), produced by Moira Griffin and executive produced by Academy Award winner, Viola Davis.  Starring Tunde Adebimpe (TV on the Radio) and China Shavers, this official 2017 Sundance Film Festival selection explores a day in the life of a bathroom attendant in a Los Angeles nightclub.
