ABOUT ABOUT

Join ImageNation for a limited run of Nefertite Nguvu's IN THE MORNING preceded by the short film, NIGHT SHIFT directed by Marshall Tyler.

IN THE MORNING (ITM) is about love and its inevitable change/decline. It charts the emotional anatomy of several relationships over the course of one day. The ensemble cast features Kim Hill (original Black Eye Peas vocalist), Emayatzy Corinealdi (Miles Ahead, Middle of Nowhere), Jacky Ido (Inglourious Basterds, Taxi Brooklyn), JoNell Kennedy (Shameless, Me You and Everyone We Know, DreamGirls), De’Adre Aziza (Passing Strange, A Night With Janis Joplin), Numa Perrier (The Couple, LEIGH), Hoji Fortuna (Viva Riva!, Afronauts), C.J. Lindsey (Denver Centers production of “Jitney”) and Fez (acting debut).

This 75-minute winner of the Urbanworld Film Festival's Audience Award, is directed by Nefertite' Nguvu (‘U.N.I.T.Y. Re-ignighted’ for Covergirl and Flavor Unit Ent.; Black America Again - Universal Music), with cinematography by producer Arthur Jafa (Selma, Eyes Wide Shut, Daughters of the Dust). View trailer.
